SPWING fusion -- triangle edition !

! it's getting warm ! trees are exploding ! time for something new ! Mae 🌻 is a fusion, blues, and lindy organizer/instructor/dj down from DC, and wants to bring some Swing Fusion vibes to the triangle ~ This is a fusion event inspired by rhythms, tempos, and energy levels from Lindy, blues, bal, and more. You might not get the same jazz you're used to, but you WILL have a great chance to play with the skills you love in funky fresh new contexts. Location: downstairs studio 830-915: ?? (bal/blues??) fusion lesson w/ Dee Mathews and mae Moninghoff 915-1130: DJ'd social ! 🌙 All dancers + styles are welcomed and encouraged here, music will draw elements from many genres including R&B, House, vibe, body rhythms, indie, Bluegrass, Hop Hop, modern Blues, afrorhythms, rap, rock, jazz, and more.
