SSB Blues Dance Party with Hazel Miller and the Collective!

Our next blues dance party will be with live music from Hazel Miller and the Collective! This event is being sponsored by Councilman Watson of District 9-- thank you SO MUCH for supporting us to have this fantastic band be a part of our event! Also, the event will serve as a fundraiser for District 9 schools: ALL proceeds of the event will go directly into dance programs only in District 9 schools! Let's get those kids dancing!! You can only find SSB at Denver's one and only Mercury Café (in the upstairs ballroom)! Come for good music, good dancing, and good people! Doors open at 6:30pm. Free street parking or adjacent lots starting at only $4. There will be a beginner-friendly blues dance lesson from 7-8pm. A dance party with live music from the band and DJ'ed band breaks will follow from 8-12. 7-8pm: All levels blues dance class Instructors: Jenny Sowden and Jae Wilson! 8:30-11:30: Hazel Miller and the Collective (live blues band!) DJ: Kat Rose (band breaks) Admission: $15- class only ($10 student discount with ID) $20- dance only ($15 student discount with ID) $35- class and dance ($25 student discount with ID) **NOTE: Because of new pricing of the venue, we are no longer offering the $30 class and dance bundled discount- we hope that this small change will offset the extra costs that we have while keeping the dance affordable to attendees.
