Starts May 19! Afro-Latin Jazz Fusion with Angelo Rito

We had a great first class, and are back for more this Sunday, May 26! After class, Angelo is going to a popular salsa social (La Vieja Guardia), and invites everyone to come dance with him... Afro-Latin Jazz Fusion with Angelo Rito Level: Adv. Beginner to Intermediate* Sundays from 4:30-6:00pm $15 per class (or save $ with class cards) Delve into body movement and isolations taken from Afro-Cuban, Rumba, Latin Jazz, and Salsa (New York-style “On 2”) dance styles, and combine them in uniquely fluid and musical choreographies that are Angelo’s trademark. This class will bring both sabor and technique to your dancing, and expand your ability to play with different movement styles. A healthy dose of Boogaloo will also help you tap into your funky side. *Students should be comfortable with Salsa "On 2" timing and basic steps. Recently moved from Italy to New York, Angelo Rito is a complete dancer with years of training in Afro-Cuban, Jazz, Contemporary, Ballet, Flamenco, Salsa, Hip Hop, and House dance styles. He has performed with Eddie Torres, Juan Matos, and Cheo Feliciano’s orchestra, and performed and taught around the world at numerous salsa congresses and schools. He holds a Gold Teacher Professional UIDAS Qualification in Dance and Ballroom from the Italian Federation of Art, IALS certificate from the Professional Artist Institute in Rome, and is currently enrolled in Alvin Ailey’s Professional Division Certificate program.
