Streetstar Dancehall Battle 2016

NOW IS THE TIME for all DANCEHALL DANCERS to meet and battle at STREETSTAR FESTIVAL 2016! This year will be of the hook and we are so proud to present some of the finest Crews, Judges and Dj´s! Get ready this is the Dancehall Event of the Year you don't wanna miss. BOOM BOOM!! We also have FREE BUSSES from COPENHAGEN, OSLO, GÖTEBORG,MALMÖ, KARLSTAD,JÖNKÖPING , ÖREBRO and HELSINKI with special hostel deals of 400 kr for 2 nights! SCHEDULE SATURDAY APRIL 2 13:00 Preselection for all crews and Quarterfinals 19:00 Finals for the four best crews RULES - DANCEHALL BATTLES 3vs3 Preselections will be held, each crew consists of three dancers and gets 1 min 30 sec to dance to their own SONG of choice, NO mix and NO effects, Pitch is ok. You can choose to freestyle or/and routines, as you like. The crews bring their own music only for the preselections to really represent their own style and what they like. The judges simply choose the best 8 crews that go through to the battles. The battles consist of quarterfinals, semifinals and final. The Dj will select the music for the whole battle. Three (3) rounds per crew á 1 minute in each battle. During each battle every member of the crew is required to perform at least one (1) solo. During your crews rounds, you are free to dispose your time as you want. There will be an extra honorary prize for the best dressed crew chosen by the judges. DRESS FOR SUCCESS! Registration Fee: 100 Sek (aprox. 11 €) per dancer and category. First price: 900 Euro The judge panel will consist of four (4) judges. All judges will meet the eligibility, training, judge skills level, and requirements set forth by the organizer Streetstar.
