All summer we're celebrating music from around the world at #SubsueloSundays, dancing to salsa, cumbia, reggaeton, hip-hop, Afro-house, tropical funk and all kinds of post-future global beats, outside on the patio of Caña Rum Bar in DTLA, every Sunday 3pm-9pm This week we're celebrating the music of New York, bumping music from Brooklyn, Manhattan, and Queens, Staten Island and the mufukn Bronx, with special guest DJs, MC + instrumentalists getting down with the Subsuelo crew. This Sunday June 23rd, we've got a fresh crate of rhythms rooted in the 5 boroughs, ranging from Tito Puente to the Notorious B.I.G. to Talking Heads to Willie Colon to to Wu-Tang Clan to Héctor Lavoe to Grandmaster Flash to Marc Anthony to Mos Def to Vico C to Jay-Z. All summer, Subsuelo celebrates music from around the world, with a focus on Afro-Latino electronic roots + tropical bass. Salsa twerk, bachata trap, samba house, cumbia remixes + west coast dembow. So far this summers, we've celebrated with Cuban dancers, Filipino turntablists and Dominican rappers, and we'll continue through the end of September, every Sunday collaborating with musicians from Panama, Brazil, India, Puerto Rico, Mexico, Nigeria and more. #SubsueloSundays in partnership with SelvaRey Rum, every Sunday all summer 3pm-9pm at Caña Rum Bar
