Subsuelo Sundays: Filipino celebration at Caña with DJ Dynamix

All summer, Subsuelo + Friends gather on the beautiful patio of Caña Rum Bar every Sunday to celebrate music from around the world, with a focus on Afro-Latino electronic roots + tropical bass. The highly decorated Los Angeles DJ is a 4-time Red Bull The3style US Finalist, a finalist on VH1’s Master of the Mix, and an official instructor at the World Famous Beat Junkies’ Institute of Sound. Every Sunday, Subsuelo celebrates the music, dance and culture of different countries around the world that have inspired the sound of global bass. Last week was Cuba, next week is Dominican Republic, and this week is the Philippines. We'll still be playing cumbia, salsa, reggaeton, hip-hop, Afro-house and all the music we normally play at Subsuelo, but we'll also be incorporating elements of Filipino music to celebrate the history of interconnectedness between the Philippines and Latin America, and the pioneering legacy of Filipino DJs in Los Angeles and across California. #SubsueloSundays in partnership with SelvaRey Rum + QSC, every Sunday all summer 3pm-9pm at Caña Rum Bar.
