Subsuelo Sundays: Juxli and Friends

This Sunday at Subsuelo we are celebrating our resident visual artist Juxli’s birthday with a dance party outside on the patio of Caña Rum Bar in DTLA, from 3pm-9pm. Free! https://www.instagram.com/explore/tags/subsuelosundays/ We’ll be grooving to tropical rhythms of salsa, cumbia, reggaeton, along with hip hop, r&b, reggae, dancehall and more courtesy of our resident DJs and Juxli’s friends from across the LA landscape whose tremendous passion for music will guarantee an amazing experience. La Flaca Lee is a Boyle Heights native and creator of Bump N Grind in the LBC, a night for lovers of the best Hip Hop and R&B. DJ Kiyomi is the boss behind the Sweet Beats truck whose artistry stretches from paint canvas to turntables. It’s no surprise the Sweet Beats truck can be seen rocking crowds from Venice beach to Dodger Stadium and Coachella. Sumo Hair is part of DJ collective Metralleta de Oro who keep it sweaty on the East Side with their monthly cumbia night Dinamita. He’s quickly becoming a go to name for remixes and original productions as well releasing both solo work and collaborative tracks. Sumo Hair will be playing a set of his own productions this Sunday! Kidbusiness is one of the members of Late Night Laggers. A frequent go to team up for Subsuelo when we want to push our selves further in a global bass voltron. Kidbusiness will push the dance floor to new heights.
