Luis Cardenas, known as "2 DEEP”, is a DJ and Producer, born in the Bronx and raised for part of his life in Guayaquil, Ecuador. A transplant to Los Angeles, 2 DEEP has been pushing a distinct electronic tropical sound for the past 4 years. Although 2 DEEP is known for producing the tropical EDM genre known as Moombahton, his sound doesn’t stop there. With a whole host of diverse collaborations on his roster, like “Move Dat Butt” with DJ FUNK & APE DRUMS, 2 DEEP has demonstrated his flexibility in style and has successfully taken his house music roots and added a modern twist to create his own sound. 2 DEEP’s online team of support comes from all levels of the industry, ranging from online and in print publications such as DJ Mag and Vibe Magazine, to music labels like Mad Decent and Dim Mak.
