Salsa and Bachata dancers, you are invited to join Alex Bryan this Saturday for a 2-hour “Success with Jack & Jill Competitions” workshop. "Jack & Jills" are fun dance competitions in which participants are judged on their social dancing after being paired at random. This workshop explores how to have more success with such competitions. Discover: - what the judges look for in Jack & Jill competitions - how to prepare/practise in advance - how to control your nerves - what moves to avoid - how to engage the audience and judges in a positive way The workshop will include both theory and practise. You will then be invited to enrol to compete in the Queensland Jack n Jill Championship on Saturday 7th October (https://www.facebook.com/events/1653067778432120) After dinner, come back for the Latin Utopia party from 8pm ’til late (https://latinutopia.com.au) ** When ** 5pm - 7pm Saturday 30th September ** Where ** This workshop will be held at Dance Culture, 1st floor, 474 Ipswich Rd, Annerley.
