Summer Punch Slow Bal - workshops and party!

Do you enjoy dancing Slow Bal? The RoffaSlowBal team is organizing a day of workshops and of course a great party! Join us for 3 hours of Slow Bal workshops from Deirdre (Slowfeet Studio in Rotterdam) and Giovanni (Berlin, DE) for intermediate and more experienced dancers. At night we party! Join us for an evening of slow swing music in true summer vibes. WHAT ABOUT SLOW BAL? Slow Bal is a member of the swing dance family, and is danced to slow Swing music. It’s elegant, smooth and very rhythmic. Slow Bal dancers love the playfulness of the dance, the connection with the dance partner, and the ability to dance to even the slowest songs. It’s a great addition to your swing dance repertoire, but also a perfect swing dance to start with. ABSOLUTE BEGINNERS Have you never danced Slow Bal before? No problem. We start the night with a Slow Bal workshop for absolute beginners. No partner or dance experience necessary. Our teachers (TBA) will provide you with enough moves to enjoy a night on the dance floor. Time: 19.00 - 20.30 hr Date: Saturday June 1 WORKSHOPS Workshop 1: The ultimate connection Time: 14.00-15.30 hr Slow Bal is known for the close connection and the lovely flow of the dance. In this 1,5 hour workshop we will explore this connection we have with our dance partner. How can express ourselves in the dance and to the music, while staying in this close embrace? You will be surprised how many options there are! Workshop 2: Side by side Time: 16.00 - 17.30 hr While we love dancing in a close embrace, sometimes we want to open up, and move from there. In this 1,5 hour we will explore the fun we have while dancing side by side.
