Mae and Andrew's Bio:
Andy and Mae have been dancing together for over 8 years since meeting at a local Salsa Club. They are both self confessed dance addicts and are constantly aiming to improve what they do, believing that no matter what level of dancer you are there is always more to learn. Their passion for Salsa and Latin dances has literally taken them all over the world dancing in more than 30 countries, spending time in some of the hottest Salsa mecca's from New York to LA, Cuba to Puerto Rico and Cali to the Dominican Republic they would take inspiration from all styles of dancer from some of the best in the world to old couples dancing Son in the street. Although their preffered style of Salsa is On2, they both initially learned On1 and are equally happy dancing Cuban Style or Son as the music dictates. Bachata and cha cha are other great passions and being able to dance most latin styles with confidence means they get the absolute most out of parties and socials which is where their true enjoyment is found, generally being amongst the first to arrive and the last to leave. Andy and Mae have been teaching regularly in the Midlands for several years where their commitment to technique and emphasis on social dancing skills have brought on a number of dancers to a level where they regularly and confidently attend some of the top parties in the UK. They love passing on their knowledge and enjoy nothing more than teaching people new things to take to the dance floor and different ways to interpret the music. Andy is known for his smooth style, light leading and fantastic musicality and Mae, for her skills as a light, intuitive follower and fun, flirty dance moves.
