Program with Lya & Ivan in Ottawa July 8th-July 15th, 2024: Monday, July 8th, 2024: Private Lesson availability Tuesday, July 9th, 2024: 7:00 - 8:00pm: General Fundamentals & Yeites for all levels (Level 1) - In this class, we will focus on improving coordination and communication of movements. We will learn how to use the floor to enhance our connection and coordination, and develop our spatial awareness to move together smoothly and musically. This Class Series is essential if you want to take your tango skills to the next level! 8:00 - 9:15pm: Tango Embrace & Pivot (Part 1) - The secret of the relation between them and how we discover a whole other world of control and connection with it. 9:15 - 10:30pm: Practice Wednesday, July 10th, 2024: 11:00am - 5:00pm: Privates Lessons Thursday, July 11th, 2024 11:00am - 5:00pm: Private Lessons 6:15 - 7:45pm: Follower Technique Class - This class is to take you on a journey to cultivate an understanding of the intricate interplay between connection, creativity & musicality. With that we can keep unlocking our dance and new levels of improvisation, feel more confident and playful in the moment of dancing with one another. We will learn how to use the floor to enhance our connection and coordination, and develop our spatial awareness to move together smoothly and musically. This Class Series is essential if you want to take your tango skills to the next level! 4:30 - 6:00pm: Fun Boleos - It’s just fascinating how many Boleos exist. Learn to lead and follow some of them in a smooth and comfortable way! 6:00 - 7:00pm: Practice Monday, July 15th, 2024 11:00am - 5:00pm: Private Lessons *Please note, more workshops may be added to the schedule due to availability.
