Summer Zouk in Kaisaniemi

Summer Zouk socials in Kaisaniemi are here again, third summer running! Every Wednesday from 18:00 until 21:00 (or later) on the outdoor stage of Ravintola Kaisaniemi, we get together to dance amazing Brazilian Zouk partner dance! First hour from 18-19, an open level class, where you get a taster of what the dance is about. Highly recommended! After the class you will be able to try out the moves, stay for a drink and have a chat with other zoukers. We're a friendly bunch! :) (We now have people who have danced for a year and they started their Zouk journey at one of our socials in Kaisaniemi last summer! So prepare to get hooked ;) ) Brazilian Zouk is a sensual partner dance and has gained popularity throughout the world in recent years. Zouk -like other dances- has many different styles of it, so we will be rotating the open level classes between Rio Zouk, Lambazouk and MZouk. It will be Rio Zouk - Lambazouk - MZouk - Rio Zouk - Lambazouk - MZouk and so on, throughout the summer until mid August. Different style each week! The classes will be taught by teachers with years of experience in different dances and teaching, so you'll be in good hands! Classes will be taught in English if there is anyone who doesn't speak Finnish. This week it's Lambazouk, so watch this space for more info soon from Noora Staf!
