Summer Zouk in Kaisaniemi

Summer Zouk socials in Kaisaniemi are here again, third summer running! Every Wednesday from 18:00 until 21:00 (or later) on the outdoor stage of Ravintola Kaisaniemi, we get together to dance amazing Brazilian Zouk partner dance! An open level class is on at 18-19 o'clock, perfect for total beginners! A great way to learn the basic steps of Zouk :) Straight after the class the social (free dancing) is on at 19-21 and you will be able to try out the moves you learned, stay for a drink and have a chat with other zoukers. We're a friendly bunch! :) We now have people in the dance scene who have danced Zouk for a year and they started their Zouk journey at one of our socials last summer! So far this summer we've had over 400 people at our socials, so come and find out why this dance is so awesome ♥ and prepare to get hooked! Brazilian Zouk is a sensual partner dance and has gained popularity throughout the world in recent years. Zouk -like other dances- has many different styles of it, so we will be rotating the open level classes between Rio Zouk, Lambazouk and MZouk. It will be Rio Zouk - Lambazouk - MZouk - Rio Zouk - Lambazouk - MZouk and so on, throughout the summer until mid August. Different style each week! Classes will be taught in English if there is anyone who doesn't speak Finnish. This week it's Lambazouk style taught by the awesome Noora and Jaakko, who both have years of experience in dancing and teaching.
