JUNE 19th - 21st || Cumbria || UK (alessialencioni.com) This weekend we will dance with the energies of nature and live music, at the moment when the sun shines at its zenith, when the creative drive of spring relaxes and we can appreciate simply being. Being in the body, receiving it delicately, welcoming its change of energy, relaxing in sensitive movement, enjoying the warmth of the sun on the skin. We will inhabit the space between lyrical and stillness , accompanied by moments of live music and fusion with the elements. We will let go of control over our own dance patterns to become the dance itself. We will celebrate the Solstice with a stone circle ritual in an ancient and powerful place: the Castlerigg Stone Circle !!! >> INDOOR VENUE: Embleton Hall, close by Braithwaite. >> OUTDOOR SESSION: For a chosen session we plan to spread our wings and dance in Castlerigg Stone Circle. Probably built around 3000 BC, the beginning of the later Neolithic Period, Castlerigg Stone Circle is one of the earliest stone circles in Britain. It is important in terms of megalithic astronomy and geometry, as the construction contains significant astronomical alignments. Although its origins are unknown it is believed that it was used for ceremonial or religious purposes. It is probably the most dramatic of the known Neolithic stone circles in Britain. Essere nel corpo, accoglierlo con delicatezza, dare il benvenuto al suo cambiamento di energia, rilassarsi nel movimento sensibile, godere del calore del sole sulla pelle. Abiteremo lo spazio tra il lirico e la quiete, accompagnati da momenti di musica dal vivo e fusione con gli elementi. Lasceremo andare il controllo sui nostri schemi di danza per diventare la danza stessa. Celebreremo il Solstizio con un rituale nel cerchio di pietre in un luogo antico e potente: il Cerchio di Pietre di Castlerigg!!! 🏠 SEDE AL CHIUSO: Embleton Hall, vicino a Braithwaite. 🌿 SESSIONE ALL'APERTO: Per una sessione speciale prevediamo di spiegare le ali e danzare nel Cerchio di Pietre di Castlerigg. Costruito probabilmente intorno al 3000 a.C., agli albori del Neolitico tardivo, è uno dei più antichi cerchi di pietre in Gran Bretagna. Riveste grande importanza in termini di astronomia e geometria megalitica, poiché la sua costruzione contiene significativi allineamenti astronomici.
