Sergio became interested in contact improv (CI) because he had known the link between Aikido and the CI founders. He is an Aikido practioneer since 2001 and came to know CI in 2013.
For Sergio CI is a way to improve his Aikido expertise. And Aikido is a way to improve his CI expertise.
"In Brazil we have the CI dancers Ricardo Neves and Cleia Placido, who have taught me since the beginning." - Sergio
Class description: the common feature of CI and Aikido is the flowing or smoothness. Both practices emphasize the sensibility instead of reasoning in order to experience the flowing that is happening every time, despite of our unawareness of that. That's what I have been developing in Brazil.
