Sunday Salsa Social + Zouk

Peri Oxford will be our Instructor for a special social with a Zouk lesson. If you've never heard of this dance style, or you're curious but haven't tried it, this is a great opportunity to learn the basics by an instructor who's passionate about Zouk! Zouk is a Brazilian partner dance that developed out of the lambada with influence from other Latin dance styles. We will have a beginner/open level lesson where we explore the basics of this fun dance. No cover charge, includes: 4:00 zouk lesson by Peri Oxford. Newbies are welcome! We are an inclusive dance community with over 22 years experience promoting the love and joy of Latin social dancing in the Charlottesville area. Rain or shine, Indoor and outdoor dance spaces. Family and leashed dog friendly. Picnics welcome, but no outside alcohol please. A wide selection of award winning estate grown wines. Cheese, meats, fresh bread too. Dj Butchata creates a varied, unique playlist for each social with the newest and classic Latin music (plus some zouk).
