Yersin Guillen Rivas was born in Cienfuegos,Cuba.Since te early ages Yersin shown a big passion for music and dancing.Coming from a family with lots of Afrocuban roots and a contagious music environment Yersin decided to embark himself on the world of dancing.Yersin was a member of the Casa de la Cultura and Hotel Jagua shows which also featured in several theatres and stages up and down in Cuba. Yersin is an International artist,instructor and Dj based in the U.K and shortly after his arrival on December,2000 he rapidly became a hit on the UK salsa scene teaching and performing in several clubs and major Festival and Salsa Congresses.Yersin has featured as a guest instructor and performer at The Latin Splash Festival,Cuban Salsa Congresses(Wales,Swansea,London and Bournemouth),Festival Dias Cubanos(Holland),Afro Cuban Pati Weekender,Pontins Weekender,Salsa Feel The Heat Weekender,Teeside Festival,Mambo City Congress,Scottish Salsa Congress,Eagle Tours(Barcelona,Malaga and Majorca,Spain),Salsa Caramba(Sweden),Latin Angels(Toulouse,France),Dance-Cubana Lloyd,Havananights,SalsaJulia,Salsabrighton,Bar Salsa,Salseduce,Chilli con Salsa among others.Yersin also did a South American tour taking his talent to countries such as Chile,Venezuela,Ecuador and Brasil where he featured on a series of workshops and master classes. Yersin have appeared on British Television Channels BBC and ITV where he won a part for acclaimed British comedy-drama programme Auf Wiedersehen,Pet and also featured on BBC drama series The Hour which starred famous actors and actresses such as Ben Whishaw, Dominic West and Romola Garai. Yersin is also one of the most exciting and upcoming djs and is also a regular on Festivals and Salsa Congresses in the UK and across Europe.He was part of the UK Team Cuba project alongside famous Dj Flecha (former Dj of the famous Casa de la Musica in Havana Cuba.Yersin also worked at prestigious Ministry of Sound Club and also featured as a guest Dj for leading Cuban Salsa band Juan Formell y Los Van Van.
