Sunday Social, Blacksburg

Once a month, we gather both valleys (Roanoke and New River) to dance and socialize; a social dance! It's a relaxed, friendly afternoon where all levels of dancers are welcome to come and enjoy. We dance from 3 p.m. to 5:30 p.m., beginning with an hour-long West Coast Swing lesson. Our lessons are beginner friendly and perfect for people trying social dance for the first time! We always have an excellent mix of beginner and experienced dancers, so the lessons are designed to have something for everyone. The playlist is West Coast Swing heavy with some Latin, Ballroom, and Country styles mixed in. The cost to attend is $10 (Full time students get in for $5). Registering is suggested by the Saturday before by contacting us, as details are subject to change.
