Sunday Social, "Bring-A-Friend"

**For May we will be dancing at a different location, the YMCA, 1000 N Main Street, Blacksburg Va. Then it’s back to the UUC for 1st Sundays the rest of the year.** Once a month, we gather to dance and socialize; a social dance! It's a relaxed, friendly afternoon where all levels of dancers are welcome to come and enjoy. We begin with an hour of instruction to get you moving, and then we dance to a playlist full of current and classic tunes. Since our dance floor is particularly huge this month, I want you all to bring a buddy, and you both can get in for half-price: $5. And if you're a first-timer coming on your own, you also get a half-price entry this month! A safe and welcoming space is a priority, so please read the code of conduct, https://www.dancewithlane.com/code-of-conduct, before attending. We dance from 3 p.m. to 5:30 p.m., beginning with an hour-long West Coast Swing lesson. We always have an excellent mix of beginner and experienced dancers, so the lesson is designed to have something for everyone. The playlist is West Coast Swing heavy with some Latin, Ballroom, and Country styles mixed in. The cost to attend is $10.
