Sunday Swing at Big'z Burger Joint UTSA!

Join us as we celebrate 10 years of Alamo City Swing Revival this month! Make your 2026 swingin' out on the dance floor with us! Big'z Burger Joint UTSA is our NEW location, plenty of free parking and space to dance! Attendees are welcome to walk thru the main entrance and walk thru the dining area, or use the side entrance pathway to our private dance room, look out for signage for where to go! This will be a DJ night, perfect for practicing and perfecting those new dance moves! DJ nights are also great for scheduling dance evaluations and guidance from your preferred instructor. We will be celebrating St. Patrick's Day so wear your lucky green gear! Dance lessons are still included in ticket price, but please be aware of our updated prices and times, see below. 🕺 MARCH DANCE LESSONS: 6-7pm INTRO TO SWING 𝐈𝐧𝐬𝐭𝐫𝐮𝐜𝐭𝐨𝐫𝐬: Ale & Nick 𝗗𝗲𝘀𝗰𝗿𝗶𝗽𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻: This 6-count dance is where it all starts! This class is available every Monday night. East Coast 1 is perfect if you are new to swing dancing and want to begin your dance journey. This class will cover the main fundamentals of swing dancing such as basic posture, pulsing, weight transferring & core engagement. CHARLESTON 𝐈𝐧𝐬𝐭𝐫𝐮𝐜𝐭𝐨𝐫𝐬: Andrea & Marissa 𝗗𝗲𝘀𝗰𝗿𝗶𝗽𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻: Come get your kicks and learn this fast paced variation! Originally a solo dance, can be added to partnered dance east coast swing and lindyhop! Ideal for fast songs and upbeat tempos. SOLO JAZZ 𝐈𝐧𝐬𝐭𝐫𝐮𝐜𝐭𝐨𝐫: Torrey 𝗗𝗲𝘀𝗰𝗿𝗶𝗽𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻: Build a strong foundation learning the building blocks of swing. Derived from a blending of tap and jazz moves, this class for all levels will build confidence in solo jazz moves that can performed independently, added to partner dance, and utilized in line dances like the Shim Sham and Tranky Doo! NOTE: While these classes are available each week, please know that it takes personal commitment to improve your dancing. This may include self-practice, group practices, or private lessons with instructors. Growth requires pushing your limits & testing your potential. Dance is no exception to this rule.
