Sunset Ecstatic Dance Silent Disco with Joro-Boro!

✨🎧 ECSTATIC DANCE 🎧✨ featuring Joro-Boro 🎶 Ecstatic Dance is an opportunity to connect with your body and community with free form expressive dance. We will be honoring the container of the space, which includes:✨ limiting conversation on the dance floor, there will be a designated space and time to chat💖✨ we invite you to explore the shoe-less experience of dancing barefoot on the Earth👣✨this is a substance free event Schedule: 6:30 PM Doors open to allow space to settle in. 7 PM Connection Circle, where we will be connecting to our breath, our bodies, our community, and the music, flowing into our open dance journey. 9 PM Closing Circle Joro-Boro established himself as a DJ with his seven-year residency alongside Eugene Hütz (Gogol Bordello) at the Bulgarian Bar (Mehanata) in New York City, where he pioneered the Balkan music and Balkan Beat scenes in the United States. He then moved on to become an early promoter and producer of global bass and released on a number of international labels. Lately, his interests have shifted to the conscious dance movement and he regularly plays events like Ecstatic Dance. His low-end heavy sets are a blend of post-national bass with liquid crunk and local sounds from around the world. He has toured with Anna Morgan, Balkan Beat Box, and Filastine and has performed with artists ranging from Omar Souleyman to Questlove.
