It can be difficult to find us if it's your first time. 2. Bring the least amount of personal belongings, this event takes place in a public park and if you leave your stuff anywhere to go dance, you do so at your own risk. 3. There are no drinks sold at this event and nearest bar or restaurant is a 4 minute walk away. We recommend you bring water to stay hydrated. Dancing in the Sun will make you very thirsty. There is also limited seating, so if you bring a picnic blanket you can rest on the grass adjacent to our area. Lastly it a public park and not no alcoholic drinks are permitted. 4. The floor that we dance on is a smooth pavement, some of the dances we do involve a lot of turns. Its best to wear a low friction/low grip street shoe. Dance shoes wear out very quickly on this surface. ✮ SAFETY ✮ We take safety very seriously within our community. Any inappropriate behavior should be brought to the organizers attention. We have a zero tolerance tolerance policy for inappropriate behavior and any issues regarding consent on and off the dance floor. If someone is deemed a threat to our participants we will do what we can to isolate them from our community, assist with legal action if necessary and notify law enforcement. ✮ CONNECT WITH US ✮ Lastly we are open to suggestions, we want to hear from you, please message Kizz Me DC if you have any comments or suggestions. #sunsetfordancers
