𝘼𝙈𝙐𝙇𝙀𝙏𝙊 𝙈𝘼𝙉𝙐𝙀𝙇𝘼 Amuleto Manuela ist eine in Berlin lebende kolumbianische Klangkünstlerin und DJ. Sie ist in Kolumbien geboren und aufgewachsen und lebt seit einigen Jahren in Berlin. In ihren DJ-Sets legt sie den Fokus auf Musik aus dem globalen Süden: Afro-Rhythmen und Einflüsse, die Paul Gilroys Idee des Black Atlantic reflektieren. Afro-Latin, Latin-Funk, Bullerengue, Samba, Currulao, Cumbia, Salsa, Charanga, Bolero und viele weitere Genres gehören zu ihrem Fundus. Manuela teilt ihr „Sentimento do Mundo" (Weltgefühl) aus ihrer diasporischen Perspektive und verkörpert dabei Vergangenheit, Gegenwart und Zukunft dieser Musik und Kultur. Als DJ und Künstlerin ist sie auf Festivals wie Fusion, Garbicz und In.habit.ants, in Clubs wie Klunkerkranich, Yaam und Badehaus sowie Kunstinstitutionen wie SAVVY Contemporary, Brücke Museum, Dutch Art Institute und der Neuen Gesellschaft für bildenden Kunst zuhause. Außerdem produziert sie „Music Shrine“, eine monatliche Radiosendung bei Refuge Worldwide und ist Klangforscherin und Kuratorin bei SAVVY Contemporary. 𝙈𝘼𝙈𝘽𝙊 𝘾𝙃𝙄𝘾𝙆 Mambo Chick ist eine Plattensammlerin und DJ, deren Lebensmittelpunkte in Annecy und Guadeloupe sind. Die leidenschaftliche Anhängerin sonniger Musik aus südlichen Breitengraden ist bekannt für ihr charmantes Lächeln, eine prächtige Plattensammlung und ihre exquisiten tropischen DJ Sets. Florence ist eine Globetrotterin mit einem Faible für verstaubte Tonträger, die sie aus allen Ecken der Welt mitbringt, um damit anschließend ihr kosmopolitisches Publikum in den Clubs dieser Welt zum Tanzen zu bringen. So wurde sie in den letzten zehn Jahren eine feste Größe in der „Tropical Music“ Szene und untermauerte ihren Status 2023 mit den ersten Veröffentlichungen auf ihrem Label Symbole Records. As a DJ, he skillfully blends captivating music from around the world with a flair for the dancefloor. He is a musical jack-of-all-trades, known for curating two albums for the Nippon Connection Film Festival and performing at festivals and clubs across 4 continents and 21 countries as part of the Analog Africa Soundsystem. Additionally, he co-organizes diverse club and cultural events, including LAZY, Halva, Africadelay, Saravá, and Super Discoteca Tropical. As a collector and ambassador of tropical music, Kosmik Kat has showcased legendary acts like Anibal Velasquez, Ebo Taylor, Karl Hector & the Malcouns, Konono No. 1 and Orchestre Poly-Rythmo De Cotonu, as well as respected DJs from Antal to Alma Negra, Coco Maria, DJ Kobal, DJ Pãulao, DJ Tahira, Nickodemus and Hugo Mendez (Softrito) in Frankfurt over the past two decades. In his sets, Kosmik Kat seamlessly merges global rare grooves with cutting-edge sounds.
