About this Event
Montreal-born and raised DJ/producer Jacques Greene makes his Superstition debut this May with a DJ set at our home of Village Underground. As one of dance music’s most captivating and enigmatic talents, Jacques has a wealth of collaborations under his belt from vocalists, fashion designers and even art institutions including London’s very own Tate Modern. Beyond the sparkling original releases, eps and remixes, he has given the current musical landscape progressively deeper ideas of what house music can mean in the new decade.
Joining Jacques is eccentric Stockholm artist Baba Stiltz, who defies categorization. His outputs are as comfortable in house that ranges from reflective, somewhat melancholy, and disco-influenced burners as they are with downtempo electro pop. With an artist who dares to be so different we can’t wait to see what he brings to us in May.
Next up on the line up is Frankfurt-based producer, musician is Lauer . Raised on a strict diet of hip hop & punk rock, Lauer finally succumbed to the pleasures of electronic music in the late nineties when he started to produce deep house tracks. On his rare and special DJ appearances, he tries to preach the ragged side of proto-dance music.
Completing this party of a line up we have 2 very special guest which will be announced soon.
