About this Event
Calling for Submissions: Please Participate in my Research Project!
I am writing a paper on the way the contact improvisation community has approached the issue of sex as it relates to CI. I am having difficulty finding formal discussions of this topic, so I am dependent on contact community members to participate in my research by sending me writing about their own experiences and opinions about sex, intimacy, contact improvisation, and the contact improvisation community.
This is a project that means to expose patterns and methodology in order to provide support and resources toward addressing this topic within the community and to document the patterns and relationships CI and sex politics generates as it grows/develops into other performing disciplines and across territorial and ethnic boundaries.
Also please share your resources: articles, books, videos, names/contact info for integral members of the community (founders, teachers, active participants) etc.
Please be a part of the discussion!
How to participate:
1. Please email me that you want to participate:
[email protected].
2. I will email you a series of questions addressing the topics of sex, community politics, personal experience, personal info. (religion, years in CI, role in CI community), and more.
THANK YOU! PLEASE PASS THIS ON TO OTHERS WITH INTEREST!
