Swing After Work - Filmtime The Spirit Moves

Hey everyone, we're getting together to watch The Spirit Moves (A History of Black Social Dance, 1900–1986) a documentary by Mura Dehn about the roots of Lindy Hop and more. It dives into how African-American dances evolved over the years, from ragtime stuff like the Charleston to the wild Savoy Ballroom Lindy aerials in the 50s. If you're curious about the cultural side, this is gonna be fun. And ofcourse we'll dance a bit ourselves.
