A one of a kind swing festival in one of the most beautiful beaches in México. 7 days of full swing with amazing teachers and live music every night! Most of the band members started as swing dancers, and became so infatuated with the music that they decided to make some themselves! They play regularly in San Francisco and in festivals nationwide. Classes -WeekDay- (Monday, Tuesday & Wednesday) The WeekDay class series is taught by Felipe and Helena, Tim and Ruchi designed for those seeking exciting classes during the week as an alternative to Lindy Tech. The class will be divided into two relative levels, Classes will include dance technique, Authentic Jazz & Lindy Hop routines. -WeekEnd- (Friday & Saturday) The classes we have all been waiting for! The Swing Break Mexico teachers team up (Kevin y Jo, Felipe y Helena, Tim y Ruchi), to create an exciting learning environment with 3 levels of instruction. -Beginner / Intermediate -Intermediate -Advanced ****Lindy Tech*** Lindy Tech is a workshop where a small group of dancers (15 couples max/level) comes together to work intensively on improving their dancing from the bottom-up. For three days, we expect that you are prepared to work hard, are interested in fine-tuning your new skills during practice sessions, and are ready to delve into this magical thing we call Lead & Follow. They will be a total of 12 hours of classes with Kevin & Jo (4 hours/day) over the three days. As the theme of this year’s camp suggests, the focus will be all about Spinning & Turning Technique. Kevin & Jo will dive deep into the How To from a technical perspective, execution of high-quality movement, the Lead & Follow aspect of one- vs two-foot turns, and how to play with these aspects. - - - Absolute Beginners - - - - Swing Break is open to everyone. We offer classes for Absolute Beginners with 6 hours of class per Intensive and include entries to the evening parties. These classes offer you the possibility to dance your first steps of swing in this incredible environment. Taught by Lalo and Pao (Mexico), who are both professional instructors with years of international teaching experience. We would recommend taking both the weekday & weekend classes to maximize your learning opportunity, but you are welcome to just take one or the other. *Weekday Beginner Schedule: Monday, Tuesday & Wednesday (2 hours per day) *Weekend Beginner Schedule: Friday and Saturday (3 hours per day) About San Pancho...
