Swing Dance and Spring Field Day Party (masked & vaxxed)

Wednesday Night Hop will be hosting a masked and vaxxed DJ'd swing dance with four month-long progressive class series and a free drop-in beginner class. Get ready to swing into spring with Wednesday Night Hop's Field Day! Our DJ's set break will feature some games that will take you back to field days of your youth -- think three legged race, egg-on-spoon balancing action, and relay races, along with fun spring-related prizes! This is the perfect opportunity to dust off your dancing shoes and shake off the winter blues. Whether you're an experienced dancer or just starting out, our friendly and welcoming community will make sure you have a blast. No partner or prior dance experience required. Schedule: 7:05pm - 8:05pm - Journey Series | Dancing to Trad Jazz - Performance Series | Just Doo It 8:15pm - 9:15pm - Small Groups Series | The Rhythm in You - Beginners Series | Charleston Lindy Hop - Free Drop-In Swing Dance Fundamentals Class 9:30pm - 11:30pm: DJ Dance Party and Spring Field Day games This event is only open to people who are vaccinated with their second dose or booster received before February 28th, 2023. You must show proof of vaccination at the door. (e.g. https://myvaccinerecord.cdph.ca.gov) All attendees will be required to wear a mask and follow the direction of the staff when it comes to wearing a mask. Please refer to our website (wednesdaynighthop.com) for information about our classes and dances. Note that we do not allow drop-ins for our series classes, but we welcome drop-ins for our free swing dance fundamentals classes! Wednesday Night Hop reserves the right to cancel or change date/time of the event. In the event of a cancellation, tickets will be refunded. -------------------------- As a reminder, we have changed our requirements regarding masks and vaccinations. Please read carefully to make sure they work for you. Masks: - We are still requiring masks except when drinking water. - We are allowing surgical masks, but not cloth masks. - We will still encourage N95 masks and continue to provide them for free at the front desk, but they will not be required. Vaccinations: - We will no longer be restricting vaccinations to QR codes. We will now accept vaccination cards. - We will continue to check ID at the door. - We are no longer restricting vaccinations to Pfizer and Moderna; as long as the person is fully vaccinated and they got their last dose two-weeks prior to the dance.
