Swing Dance Fundraiser for Walk to End Alzheimer's - Greater Springfield

Join us for our second annual dance benefitting Walk to End Alzheimer's - Greater Springfield. This year, we are bringing in Peoria's own, River Valley Big Band. This 20 piece big band plays dance hits from the Glenn Miller era through the Rat Pack. The dance will be held in the newly restored Ursula Hall Conservatory, located just down the street from Lincoln Park. This beautiful venue has plenty of space, beautiful acoustics, and the most gorgeous wood floor! Tickets are just $10 at the door. Beverages will be available for purchase by Preservation, Inc. non-profit. There will be a short beginner East Coast swing lesson before the dance, no experience/partner required. 5:00pm - Doors open 5:30pm - Beginner East Coast Swing lesson 6:00pm to 8:00pm - Live music from River Valley Big Band 8:00pm to 9:30pm - DJ music provided by Young Dance Inc We look forward to seeing you on the dance floor, and raising funds for the Alzheimer's Association!
