Swing Dance Party and Plant Swap (masked & vaxxed)

Wednesday Night Hop will be hosting a masked and vaxxed DJ'd swing dance with four month-long progressive class series and a free drop-in beginner class. We will also be holding a plant swap! This will be like the clothing swap from February, except this time you bring your plant babies. Adult plants are okay, too! During the dance party, we will have a place to share plants. Some of our recommendations include: indoor plants, small outdoor plants, plant cuttings, herbs, flowers, and succulents. Even bring your struggling plants! Our collective knowledge may be able to help you revitalize them! You can also bring related things you'd like to part with such as small gardening tools, plant pots and containers, and watering cans. We do not recommend to bring dirt and soil to prevent any mess. No partner or prior dance experience required. Schedule: 7:05pm - 8:05pm - Journey Series - Performance Series 8:15pm - 9:15pm - Small Groups Series - Beginners Series - Free Drop-In Swing Dance Fundamentals Class 9:30pm - 11:30pm: DJ Dance Party and Plant Swap This event is only open to people who are vaccinated with their second dose or booster received before March 23rd, 2023. You must show proof of vaccination at the door. (e.g. https://myvaccinerecord.cdph.ca.gov) All attendees will be required to wear a mask and follow the direction of the staff when it comes to wearing a mask. Note that we do not allow drop-ins for our series classes, but we welcome drop-ins for our free swing dance fundamentals classes! Wednesday Night Hop reserves the right to cancel or change date/time of the event. In the event of a cancellation, tickets will be refunded. -------------------------- As a reminder, we have changed our requirements regarding masks and vaccinations. Please read carefully to make sure they work for you. Masks: - We are still requiring masks except when drinking water. - We are allowing surgical masks, but not cloth masks. - We will still encourage N95 masks and continue to provide them for free at the front desk, but they will not be required. Vaccinations: - We will no longer be restricting vaccinations to QR codes. We will now accept vaccination cards. - We will continue to check ID at the door. - We are no longer restricting vaccinations to Pfizer and Moderna; as long as the person is fully vaccinated and they got their last dose two-weeks prior to the dance.
