This party is part of "The Happy GetAway," a weekend event at Emmaus for swing dancers, organized by Happy Feet Studio in Copenhagen. The evening will kick off with a Solo Jazz taster class by Karl Brochard at 20:00. After the taster class, the dance floor opens up, welcoming everyone to groove to the fantastic music of Tuxen Lockjaw and our great DJ's: DJ Spreadsheet and DJ Stine. TRANSPORT OPTIONS Getting there by train from Copenhagen: Take the train towards 'Næstved St.' and get off at 'Haslev station'. Trains leave from Copenhagen Central Station (København H) every 30-50 minutes, and the journey takes about 50 minutes. It's a 1 km walk (around 15 minutes) from Haslev station to the venue. If you arrive by car: Free parking is available at Emmaus. The band consists of some of Denmark’s finest musicians within the Jump Blues genre and in the style of “The Texas Tenors”, where the saxophonists would battle against each other, just like Illinois Jaquet, Eddie Lockjaw and Arnett Cobb.
