It is going to be one of those nights where you plan to leave early and then suddenly it is the last song. Dexter is one of our most popular bandleaders for a reason. The music feels good, it swings hard, and it keeps pulling you back onto the floor. Here is how the night goes: Doors open at 6:45 PM, and you have options: Brand new? Start here. Complimentary Beginner Lesson (7–8 PM) @ Carrboro Century Center No partner, no experience, no problem. We will get you moving and smiling in no time. Ready for a little more? Beyond the Basics Lesson ($5, 6:45–7:45 PM) @ Carrboro Civic Club (108 Bim St, Carrboro) For dancers who want to stretch, play, and pick up something new. Get your ticket early, spots are limited. Then from 8–11 PM, the band takes over and the real magic happens.
