SWING DANCING AT THE ANNANDALE HOTEL On Thursday February 8 we are once again clearing the floor at the Annandale Hotel for a night of swing dancing.The first one was cooking - and we wanna make this even bigger! The Blue Rhythm Band will be fronted by George Washingmachine for a night of stompin’ jazz. The Blue Rhythm Band is a band for dancers - doing what Basie, Ellington, Hamp and all the cats did - 4 solid beats to the bar and no cheating! Come along - we’ll swing you into bad health...then back again! As an added bonus, from 7:00pm, we’ll be running a free swing dance class with our great friend Sam Carroll from Swing Dance Sydney - they specialise in FUN! Get the basics in this simple, friendly class, then take to the dance floor with Sydney’s best dance band - Andrew Dickeson’s Blue Rhythm Band.
