Swing DJ Relay Celebrates 100 Years of Savoy Ballroom!

Join us as we celebrate a century of the iconic Savoy Ballroom, the legendary hub of swing and lindy hop in Harlem. To commemorate this milestone, our March event is inspired by the Savoy's rich history. We invite you to contribute to our playlist that we will build live! Share your favorite tracks, anecdotes, stories connected to the Savoy Ballroom, its legendary dancers, or the music that defined an era. Some options could be playing tunes from the Savoy House bands, or some notable musicians that played at the Savoy or even songs that have been recorded at the Savoy ballroom! Zoom link will be provided 15 minutes before the start of the event. Swing DJ Relay is a monthly community event where DJs, dancers and musicians from all over the world get together to discuss the music and the artists that make us dance.
