Swing DJ Relay: Highlight on Vocal Jazz Groups

On Swing DJ Relay this month, we are looking forward to welcoming one of our regular participants, Luke McKenty as a Spotlight DJ. Luke invites us join him on a session that will educate us about several vocal jazz groups from the Swing era like the Pied Pipers, The Andrews Sisters, the Mills Brothers, the Dandridge Sisters, and many more! Watch out for a longer post to follow in a few days! Format: We will start the event with Luke playing an educational set on this month's theme. Then it'll be your turn to continue the conversation: share your favourite songs from vocal jazz groups and help us create a collaborative setlist! All Swing DJs welcome, whether you are just starting out or experienced. About the event: Swing DJ Relay is a monthly community event where DJs, dancers and musicians from all over the world get together to discuss the music and the artists that make us dance. Come discover new tunes, connect with other DJs and nerd out about jazz and dance history. HOW TO JOIN: The Zoom meeting is password protected.
