Swing DJ Relay: Wartime Jazz

This month we remember the place of jazz, swing and dance history within the political context of the two World Wars, from Lieutenant James R. Europe's Hellfighters to Glenn Miller's Army Air Force Band, the rise of women bandleaders, the AFRS's "Jubilee Broadcasts' or the adoption of jazz as clandestine "Liberation Music" in France and Germany. Zoom link will be provided 15 minutes before the start of the event. Swing DJ Relay is a monthly community event where DJs, dancers and musicians from all over the world get together to discuss the music and the artists that make us dance.
