Swing in the Sky is back! feat. The Juniper Jazz Band

**After a looooong time we are back!** Join us for a night of live jazz and swing dancing on a rooftop park (What?! SF, you crazy city). Shimmytown has been invited to host free swing dances at the brand new Salesforce Park on top of the Transbay Center in SOMA. We will be dancing to The Juniper Jazz Band in the Main Plaza of this beautiful outdoor space. We will also be teaching a couple of free taster classes to introduce more folks to the wonderful world of lindy hop, so please invite your friends and ask some strangers to dance! Swing dance taster classes at 6:30 and 7:15pm. No experience required! There will be cash bars and food carts onsite in an area roped off from the dance floor (all ages welcome to dance). This is the first of 4 dances we have scheduled for this Fall. It's going to be a PARTY! --- INSTRUCTIONS Once you get to the Transbay Center, take any elevator or escalator up to the park level (the gondola isn't open yet). We'll be in the Main plaza, on the glass floor, approximately over Fremont Street.
