Swing in the Sky with the Hot Baked Goods

Join us for a night of live jazz and swing dancing on a rooftop park (What?! SF, you crazy city). Shimmytown has been invited to host free swing dances at the brand new Salesforce Park on top of the Transbay Center in SOMA. We will be dancing to The Hot Baked Goods in the Main Plaza of this beautiful outdoor space. We will also be teaching a couple of free taster classes to introduce more folks to the wonderful world of lindy hop, so please invite your friends and ask some strangers to dance! Once you get to the Transbay Center, take any elevator or escalator up to the park level (the gondola isn't open yet). We'll be in the Main plaza, approximately over Fremont Street. The dance floor, which is coated glass, is surprisingly pleasant to dance on. This is the second of three dances we have scheduled for this Fall. It's going to be a PARTY!
