Swing Into Spring Dance, Benefit For Poughkeepsie Farm Project

Come dance the night away at Swing into Spring with The Big Band Sound, a 20-piece jazz orchestra. This benefit concert and dance will support the work or your favorite nonprofit farm, Poughkeepsie Farm Project! Come at 6:00 pm for a swing dance lesson for beginners, led by instructors from Uptown Swing Kingston. The dance will be from 7:00 pm to 9:00 pm to the live music of The Big Band Sound. This dance is open to the public and the admission donation at the door is $10 per person. Uptown Swing will also be performing a dance demo during intermission. Directions: The Environmental Cooperative Barn is in Poughkeepsie on Vassar Farm Lane. Just east of the light where Route 376, Raymond Ave. and Hooker Ave. all intersect, turn south onto Vassar Farm Lane. The renovated barn is on the right after 0.3 miles.
