Swing into Spring: Workshops & Social Dance with Special Guest Interstate Teachers! Swing That Thing is proud to present a day of workshops and a night of swinging with guest teachers flying in from Melbourne for the occasion. 2 workshops (partnered and solo), beachside evening venue, gorgeous live band, performances and DJs. Dance the night away in the stunning Henley Sailing Club in West Beach and watch the sun set over the water as you swing your heart out. The incredibly talented Jazz It Up Ft. Willy Metzer, will coax you onto the floor and keep you there until we’re kicked out of the venue at nights end. It really is a Saturday to be remembered, won’t you spend it with us? Workshop Rundown and Schedule Saturday September 9th Venue: The Estonian Hall, North Adelaide 200 Jeffcott Street, North Adelaide WS1: Partnered Lindy-Hop* (see * for more info below) Time: 1:00pm - 2:30pm WS2: Solo Jazz* (see * for more info below) Time: 3:00pm - 4:30pm Social Dance & Live Band Saturday September 9th Venue: Henley Sailing Club 1 Seaview Road, West Beach Time: Doors from 7:00pm Band from 7:30pm *Lindy-Hop workshop pre-requisites: comfortable with swing outs and lindy circles, can move between 6 and 8 count. *Solo Jazz: all levels welcome, learn a fun original choreo and have the opportunity to perform it at the evening social (no pressure to perform if you aren’t keen, just come learn it for fun!)
