Swing Lindy Hop dance classes for beginners and experienced

Want to have fun? Like to Exercise but the gym doesn’t appeal? Sick of sitting on the sofa watching TV? Or you can dance Swing/Lindy Hop but want to learn more? Or add style and flair! Whatever the reason… whether you’re a new dancer or a seasoned Swing Lindy Hopper… come along and join our Swing/Lindy Hop classes on TUESDAY nights in Newtown!!! No previous dance experience… no partner… no problem!!! You can come on your own or with a dance partner. We rotate in class so everyone gets to dance!! 💃🏻🕺Your teachers… Peta and Bruce have been dancing, performing, competing, judging and teaching Swing/Lindy Hop (& other dance styles) for over 20 years. ⏰ Class times… 7pm Beginners 8pm Intermediate/advanced/experienced 🏠 Venue… Newtown Neighbourhood Centre 11-13 Darley St Newtown This is the new Newtown Neighbourhood Centre in Darley St (just round the corner from the Botany View on King St) It’s a great size space perfect for swing with a lovely wooden floor… AND air conditioned!!! (Woo hoo!). Note: it’s a secure venue so if someone isn’t at the door please just buzz the Gadigal room buzzer… or enter the code 75192 followed by the arrow to unlock the door. 🚗 Getting there… It’s about 1 min from King St, and about 5 mins from Newtown station, or about 2 mins from St Peter’s station. If you’re driving most of the parking in Darley street is unmetered (so no extra $$!) Also on King there’s 2 hour unmetered parking. 💰 Payment… We take Cash or Card in class $22 per person if paying per class, or, $75 per person for a 4 class pass (valid for 3 months) Note: if you’re an experienced dancer and you’d like to do both beginner and intermediate on the night we’d love you to… and we DON’T charge you for the 7pm beginner class (as long as you’ve paid for intermediate and there’s room on the dance floor in beginners) 📚 To book… Please DM me, or sms or call Peta on 0412049508, or email [email protected] with your name, phone number and which class you’d like to register for.
