Swing Out Footwork Variations

ANOTHER DATE HAS BEEN DROPPED: Next Variations workshop will be on September 23, 12 noon - 3:00pm. I'll teach 4 NEW Swing Out Variations plus do a little review of some from today's workshop. 💫 The Swing Out is the most iconic and recognizable move in Lindy Hop. Dancers over the years have added incredible rhythmic footwork and stylistic variations to this basic shape in order to express the music and explore their own personal interpretation of the moment. In this short, 2 hour workshop Evita will teach 4 variations to use in the Swing Out for both Leaders and Followers. It is highly recommended that students are already comfortable and know how to do a Swing Out before attending this workshop. The class will also discuss connection techniques that strengthen the Swing Out and support musical improvisation.
