Swing Patrol Lindy Friday

Join us at Swing Patrol's monthly social dance night! This beginner-friendly social dance will be a cool and casual spot to swing out into the weekend. The evening starts with a lesson designed to give newcomers a few moves for the dance floor, and more experienced dancers the chance to warm up their feet, meet new people and even practice their non-dominant dance role. Then it’s hours of social dancing to a roster of local swing DJs. Fun for the whole community! Location: Sylvia Staehli Theatre at Dancehouse, 150 Princes St Carlton North. ** Access will be via the side lane (at the left side of the building) to the emergency exit doors in the laneway. We’ll have signs to direct you.** Schedule: 6.45pm doors open 7.00 – 8.00pm Beginner swing dance lesson 8.00 – 10.30pm Social dancing to DJ music No bookings required, pay by credit/EFTPOS card at the door, $20 per person (price includes lesson and social dancing). No alcohol at this event. There will not be a bar, and we are not licensed for byo alcohol. Of course you can bring your own water bottle, and soft drinks may be consumed outside of the dance studio.
