Swing Patrol Lindy Friday

Join us at Swing Patrol's monthly, end of week social dance night! This beginner-friendly social dance is a cool and casual spot to swing out into the weekend. The evening starts with a lesson designed to give newcomers a few moves for the dance floor, and more experienced dancers the chance to warm up their feet, meet new people and even practice their non-dominant dance role. Then it's hours of social dancing to a roster of local swing DJs. Plus, occasional performances, guests and special activities. Fun for the whole community! Location in April: Upstairs Studio at Dancehouse, 150 Princes St. Carlton North. Schedule: 6.45pm doors open 7.00 - 8.00pm Beginner swing dance lesson 8.00 - 10.30pm Social dancing to DJ music No bookings required, pay by credit/EFTPOS card at the door, $20 per person (price includes lesson and social dancing). No alcohol at this event. There will not be a bar, and we are not licensed for byo alcohol. Of course you can bring your own water bottle, and soft drinks may be consumed outside of the dance studio.
