On Saturday June 29th our BIGGEST dance of the Summer will feature Danny Jonokuchi and The Revisions at the JCC in Manhattan. This will also be their official CD release party celebrating the release of “Let Me Off Uptown” a brand new album. It’s a record specially arranged for dancers and Mr. Jonokuchi will be debuting many of the tunes for the very first time! WORKSHOPS PLANNED SATURDAY JUNE 29th 2019 6:30PM (55min) – SWING WORKSHOP | CHARLESTON PATTERNS (LEVEL: Adv Basics and up) Location: Auditorium L2 Description: We'll introduce the basics of The Charleston with patterns & variations you can use with a partner or on your own. These styles include the 1920s, 1930s and beyond Instructors: Mimi & Jeff 7:30PM (55min) LINDY HOP WORKSHOP | THE ST. LOUIS SHIM SHAM Level: Int + Location: 4th Floor Description: Build your Vocabulary as we explore these fantastic Solo Jazz patterns. And once we get through all the techniques, we’ll put it together and prime it to perform later in the evening (during our showcase hour). Wear shoes that slide easily: leather or suede-soled shoes, or shoes with slippery bottoms.
