The festival takes the sounds and styles from the roaring 1920′s, and brings them up to date with a modern twist. Set across the beautiful lawns and tropical greenhouses of Birmingham’s Botanical Gardens, and featuring 2 new stages, we invite you all back for 2022 for what is going to be a very special edition. Headlining this year is the incredible DJ Yoda playing a special 1930’s big band/swing set, alongside incredible live acts such as Sam and the Womp, Mista Trick, The Jim Wyn Swing Orchestra, The Hawkmen, and Swingamajig’s own Electric Swing Circus. We also have an entire stage dedicated to cabaret, courtesy of the internationally acclaimed Neon Moon. The cabaret will play host to a world class line up of mind bending performances, including circus, magic, and an adults-only late night Burlesque bonanza. For those wishing to try some traditional charleston and lindy hop swing dance, we will be having classes and performances courtesy of the Swing Era taking place in the stunning vintage ballroom, complete with sprung floor. New for this year is the Disco Shed where we will have DJs the best in Electro Swing, House & Disco. Expect to see festival favorites as well as showcases from up and coming talent. Another new area for this year is the Speakeasy stage where you can go to hear live bands playing everything from gypsy jazz to ska, to folk. The vintage market will be back again this year, where you can get anything from top hats to vintage records. Spread across 2 rooms we've got a stellar line up of DJs and a live performance from Sam and the Womp. This year the after party is being held at the awesome @hockleysocialclub , situated in the Jewellery Quarter. Room 1 is hosted by Birmingham's @ragtimerecordsmusic and we're super happy to have @scourrecords hosting our 2nd room.
