More info & registration link coming soon Karl Brochard, also known as Swinghappy, is a passionate dancer and teacher whose style is shaped by a blend of influences, including swing, hip-hop, and Afrodance. Curious and nomadic in his approach, he discovered in swing not only an artistic revelation but also a rich African American culture—one he strives to understand and respect before embodying it in dance. Based in Paris, he teaches both in France and internationally, sharing a dance that is alive, free, and deeply rooted in human connection. A finalist and winner of numerous competitions (Jazz Roots 2024, ILHC Sofia, AJT Battle, among others), Karl promotes a pedagogy where learning how to learn matters more than simply memorizing steps.
