Swingymabob Birthday Live Music Night: Sam & The Swingtones

It's time to celebrate our first whole year of Swingymabob at the Canary Club, and there's no better way to do so than with a Swingymabob Live Music Night! Back by popular demand, we're thrilled to be joined once more by Sam & The Swingtones. If you've never had the pleasure of hearing Sam and her band before, they're a fabulous five-piece who cover music from the 1930s to the present day, arranged in new and surprising styles. Their extensive repertoire of upbeat jazz, swing and blues is perfect for dancers, so whether you're just finding your Lindy Hop feet or have a range of different styles under your belt, there'll be plenty to keep you on the floor! The evening will start with an all-levels class from 7pm - 8pm, followed by two sets of live music from Sam & The Swingtones from 8.15pm - 10pm. The bar will be open for anyone who wants to come and simply enjoy the music (or for anyone who wants a glass of Dutch courage before hitting the dancefloor!) £7 OTD by cash or card.
