Swingymabob Live Music Night: Tenement Jazz Band!

We are so excited to bring you our first Swingymabob Live Music Night - and who better to kickstart your February than the brilliant Tenement Jazz Band? Tenement Jazz Band are a traditional jazz band formed in early 2018 in Edinburgh, Scotland. Brought together by their shared love of New Orleans music, and comprising musicians from various corners of Edinburgh’s vibrant jazz scene, they are on a journey of exploration back to the roots of the music that they play. Many of you will be familiar with these boys from the North as they regularly play at jazz festivals and swing events up and down the country and beyond our borders too. We're lucky enough to have snapped them up for one night only, so make sure you don't miss your chance to hear their scorching-hot renditions of all your favourite jazz tunes. So whether you want to come along and dance your socks off, or simply watch and enjoy their musicianship, please do join us on Tuesday 4th February 2025. FORMAT 7pm - 8pm: All-levels dance class with Laura & Ollie 8.30pm - 10pm: Live music from Tenement Jazz Band. Attendance is £7 on the door (no need to book tickets in advance). Please be aware that the Canary Club has very limited parking so it's advisable to lift-share or arrive early to guarantee a space. And even if you're walking, have no fear: it may be chilly outside but Tenement Jazz Band are going to make the Canary Club sizzle... See you on the dancefloor!
